BBN Editors: Newsroom celebrities and corporate suits give the peons such grief and misery. On occasion the peons get to enjoy the little bit of discomfort – embarrassment – the celebs and suits might feel. This story is not earth shattering, but in solidarity for our comrades in newsrooms we thought we’d post this. Here is the email from a CNN Staffer about the Lou Dobbs and Joe Klein nasty blow up the other night:.....“Ok. I caught the aftermath of this blow up. I'm totally not surprised that someone told Page Six - I'm just surprised that it took so long. It happened by the editing bays in front of EVERYONE. Lou Dobbs was dropping F-bombs left and right. He called Jon Klein "unprofessional" and demanded that he apologize to him (for making him wait 55 minutes and still not putting him on air that night). Jon Klein said," I'm unprofessional? I'm not the one saying the F-word. Either go on air or go home!" Lou stormed away (he looked CRAZY, ok?), but not before screaming (ROARING) "Fuck you!!!" one last time. Insanity! HA!” (Page Six..... nypost) -- LOU Dobbs has turned into a real prima donna. The CNN anchor was supposed to be a big part of the network's coverage of the Iowa caucus last Thursday - and was even prominently placed in the promos - but at the last minute pulled out after a fight with CNN president Jon Klein. A source at CNN said, "He got into a huge screaming fight with [Klein] and refused to go on set at the last minute. Jon started yelling at him to go on [air], and Lou yelled back, 'No,' before leaving the building for the night." According to TVNewser, Dobbs was upset about lack of airtime. A source told Page Six, "There has been tension between the two for some time. It's very political. Jon hates Lou's politics - and Lou's ratings are down in key demographics since he switched to the 7 p.m. time slot." The evening's broadcast was anchored by Wolf Blitzer and the ubiquitous Anderson Cooper. A rep for CNN didn't return calls.
