BBN recommends reading this interview of musician and artist Lauryn Hill, who explains why she stopped putting music out.

This was a really insightful interview of an artist who we would like to hear speak more often. I wasn't aware she's had 5 children under 10 years of age. She's clearly been living her own life how she chooses for her own sanity and her family. I do think it's sad that the music industry & the public build you up to tear you down all in the same breath. I met Lauryn Hill in two showcase right after the Fugees first single "Vocab" came out and she was still a student at Colombia. Everytime i see her I remember that moment when she was a student and "not sure" about recording a solo album, although her talent said otherwise. After the Score & her solo debut everything changed. The world got to hear her gifts but at a huge price for her personally. Maybe we should just be thankful she's willing to step back into the limelight once again. She never put herself on that pedastal, the world did.
