Is anybody else outraged that the (possibly sole) Black reporter to pose a question to the President last night ... asked about steroids in baseball?
I'm so furious that I had wishes last night of him getting downsized by his corporate daily of the Washington Post. or that the White House would revoke his press credentials. And this morning, I wish that the Black community could revoke his cred, along with his credentials.
How absurd did Michael Fletcher look when he posed a question about current Yankee Alex Rodriguez (or A-Fraud, or A-Roid as I'm now hearing him called). Fletcher goes for that topic following a question about a Biden comment on Friday about the administration being right or wrong on the economy, and followed by a question on Pakistan and what countries in the Middle East does Prez Obama know have nuclear weapons.
As a salon blogger states on "are you stupid or dumb?":
Michael Fletcher of the Washington Post gets the 'I (heart) Obama' t-shirt for either being in the bag for Obama or being stupid.
And for that matter, how and why did Obama dignify it with a dragged out answer? One sentence would have sufficed. But nine lines?
I hope that he wasn't getting "tired" of the press conference like he was tired -- after 14 days -- of being in the White House following the Daschle debacle last Tuesday.
C'mon bro BHO, where's your endurance that we saw so much of on the campaign trail, and your legs that we hear so much about on the bball court?

On the other hand, I noticed that three of the first four questions came from women -- white women. Hurrah to Obama for calling on the women in the classroom -- err, press room.
********
That combination of race and gender, leaves me with the following questions:
a) How many Blacks are in the WH Press Corps?
b) How many people of color?
c) How many women?
d) And how many women of color?
e) For that matter, who anoints the press organizaitons selected?
